New pug housebreaking secrets reveal
all you could possibly want
to know about pugs as well as tips
for training your pugs
Our house has been turned upside down by our bundle of fun, our new pug puppy arrival, we are crazy about her.Winnie is her name and she is nine weeks old. However breaking her in is causing us a few problems.
Generally a pugs temperament changes from day to day which is proving to be a constant worry all the time. You should see the look on her face when we both have to head out the door to go to work, she has such a long face on her
Our little pug has days that she whines, goes to the door and the whole nine yards. Our little treasure craves attention 24/7 and she knows that the pooch pad is the place to receive it, so if she wants our approval she waddles over to it as quickly as possible
Every book and training method possible has been used to try and housetrain her but not always with the success we were expecting. For some weird reason she wont even approach her puppy pad or the door depending on what mood she is in.We can take her outside to do her duty and maybe she will then come back in the house and hide to do it again
My husband suggested we bring her to a vet in the hope of finding a solution as pug dogs have been known to get tapeworms. We haven't changed anything in her diet, she's not fed off the table, her reward for doing good is a treat piece of dog bone for puppies
Now she is beginning to do her jobbies in her doggie taxi which I cant work out, I am sure I saw on telly that puppies are known to do this . She gets to go outside every 2 hours or so no matter how much water she has consumed.
The longest stretch she goes is at bedtime of the night that is usually 6 -10 hrs,A few weeks ago I left the door open so she could go to the toilet on her pug dog pad but that was a failure. The cheeky little monkey even went so far as to piddle on my hubby shirt, to say he was upset would be an understatement
Our angel isn't spanked, or yelled at for her accidents just told no no and then took outside. What can we do to remedy this.Does she get confused by us taking her outside as well as giving her the option of the pooch pad.We must have done something to make her start at the beginning again. Please give us some input. What can we do to set her on the straight and narrow so that she is properly housetrained.
